NSP’s Energy Efficiency and Industry 4.0 Solutions on World MSME Day.

We are thrilled to share that our CEO Mr.Manoj Kumar addressed the distinguished audience at the National MSME Awards 2024 ceremony, held during the World MSME Day celebration on June 27, 2024, at Capitol Hotel Bangalore.

World MSME Day, observed annually on June 27th, celebrates the pivotal role of Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) in global economies and sustainable development. The event features workshops, seminars, and exhibitions aimed at fostering the growth and resilience of MSMEs. The occasion serves as a platform for policymakers, large corporations, financial institutions, and the international community to discuss supporting MSMEs in achieving the 2030 Agenda and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The National MSME Awards, instituted by The Global Council for The Promotion of International Trade (GCPIT) in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (CIMSME), are given away at the ceremony to recognize excellence in various categories.

Manoj emphasized the urgent need for sustainable practices to combat increasing CO2 emissions and climate change and addressing with energy efficiency technology

The Growing Energy Crisis :

Manoj began his speech by highlighting the ever-increasing energy demand driven by economic growth and population expansion. “Every day, the energy demand is increasing,” Manoj stated, “leading to higher CO2 emissions and aggravating climate change.” This underscores the urgent need for sustainable energy practices. NSP’s solution is to create energy by saving energy.

The Challenge of Sustainability :

“Sustainability means meeting the needs of the present without compromising the needs of future generations.,” Manoj explained. He pointed out the limitations of our natural resources, including oil, gas, coal, and the minerals essential for batteries, solar panels, and wind turbines. “Our resources are finite, and this poses a significant challenge for achieving sustainability.”

Addressing Energy Inefficiency :

Manoj emphasized the inefficiencies in current industrial processes, noting that “approximately 26% to 36% of energy is wasted in various processes across industries.” To put this into perspective, he explained that this wastage is equivalent to the energy resources needed for a century, highlighting the vast potential for improvement through energy efficiency.

NSP’s Approach to Energy Efficiency :

Founded in 2019, NSPlus Technology Pvt Ltd is at the forefront of addressing these challenges. “Our vision is to build a most trusted IT company, pioneering innovative solutions that revolutionize IIoT for our customers.,” Manoj shared. NSP employs a three-step process: Energy Efficiency, Innovation, and Creating a sustainable future. The first step involves meticulous measurement of energy usage across systems, processes, and equipment to identify optimization opportunities.

Technological Innovations :

Manoj highlighted the innovative products NSP has developed, such as the NSP Envision IoT Edge and IoT Insights using cutting-edge technologies. These solutions connect and monitor systems, gathering data on electrical, process, and mechanical parameters. “Our AI-enabled data platform provides comprehensive dashboards, offering insights from the plant level down to individual equipment,” Manoj explained. This holistic view helps industries optimize their operations and reduce energy consumption.

Successful Case Studies :

Manoj shared several successful case studies demonstrating NSP’s impact. At Chhattisgarh State Power Generation Company (CSPGCL), NSP deployed their solution for a 500 MW thermal power plant, monitoring key performance indicators and identifying areas for improvement. In another example, a textile industry benefited from NSP’s AI models, achieving a 10% energy saving, which translated into significant financial savings annually.

Market Potential and Job Creation :

Discussing the broader market potential, Manoj highlighted the vast opportunities for energy efficiency technologies. “The global market potential is estimated at $360 billion, with India’s potential alone at $11 billion by 2030,” he noted. Manoj also emphasized the job creation potential, with energy efficiency initiatives expected to generate millions of jobs globally, including 500,000 in India by 2030. “At NSP, we foresee creating 200 more jobs by 2030,” he added.

Call to Action :

Manoj concluded with a compelling call to action for industries to adopt energy efficiency measures and innovative technologies. “Combining energy efficiency with innovation leads to a sustainable future,” he asserted. NSP is committed to supporting industries in this journey, offering expertise and solutions to help achieve their energy efficiency goals.
